Software Requirements

Window 95+ or Vista with the following software installed:
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (for Windows desktop) - included
  • SQL Server Compact 3.5

Employer Search Installation Instructions

  1. Download the Microsoft Embedded Database Engine from here.
  2. Download the Employer Search Software from here.
  3. Install the SCERuntime-ENU.msi first by double clicking the file and following the instructions.
  4. Install the EmployerSearch1_2_0_0.zip by unzipping the file, double clicking Setup.exe, and following the instructions.

Getting Started

By default the settings are optimal for most searches. Simply type in the "Search Keywords" and "Search Location" into the tool and click the "Play" button to initiate a search. The matches appear in a grid as they are detected. The status bar at bottom and the log output show the status as the search progresses. The website links and email addresses are click-able and navigate to the website or mail client using your default programs such as Internet Explorer or Outlook. Use the Email Blast feature to perform mass email campaigns to the resulting contacts. The phone numbers, URLs, and descriptions of the sites are available to help you contact the individual employers.
